Utopie/Maladrerie

Born in 1986 in Toulouse, France.
Lives and works in the Paris area, France.

An utopian architectural project conceived in the 70s-80s by Renée Gailhoustet, the Residence of the Maladrerie in Aubervilliers mixes concrete, glass, and terraces with greenery and angular shapes, with significant space devoted to pedestrian movement. The artist evaluates the current stage of this somewhat futurist ensemble, as well as the intentions of its architecture as it incorporates the lives and movements of its inhabitants.
