The exhibition Regards du Grand Paris is spread over thirty-eight different locations around the Île-de-France region, near those who live and work in what is called ‘le Grand Paris’.
First, the images are visible on the fencing surrounding the fifteen construction sites for the stations in the new upcoming automated metro system, the Grand Paris Express.
This presentation offers the residents the possibility of seeing a selection of the first five years of the official commission for the exhibition called Regards du Grand Paris.
It begins and ends in Clichy/ Montfermeil, and can be experienced chronologically, separately, or following a particular route. Following along the future 15 and 16 lines of the Grand Paris Express is a great tour of Paris which travels through a number of small cities.
Images from this exhibition will also appear on certain buildings, those of the Ateliers Médicis, the famous museum the Centre Pompidou, the Centre national de la danse, the Station – Gare des mines, on the grillwork on the Hôtel de Ville de Paris, on the grillwork of the pont Saint- Ange, on the grillwork of the Grand Parquet, inside the pavilion of the Métropole du Grand Paris for its architecture and landscape Biennial in Versailles (BAP!), at the Bibliothèque publique d’information, in the Maisons de l’environnement et du développement durable des aéroports Paris-Charles de Gaulle et Paris-Orly, as well as inside nine metro and RER stations (Hôtel de Ville, Champs-Élysées — Clemenceau, Madeleine, La Chapelle — Gare du Nord, Saint-Denis — Porte de Paris, Pyramides, Gare de Lyon, Nation and Nogent-sur-Marne).
