Stationnaires (Standing) is an exploration of ‘Le Grand Paris’ from above, from the Utrillo tower in Clichy-Montfermeil, at La Défense, or the new Palais de Justice; the highest points of the city are seemingly telegraphing each other. The towers become semaphores and the audiences are invited to decipher what they are saying in their mysterious, private language. The artist worked in collaboration with the writer Philippe Vasset.
